Nurhachi 努爾哈赤

Nurhachi (努爾哈赤）, Khan of the Later Jin Dynasty, founder of the Aisin Gioro （愛新覺羅）clan. Nurhachi would unite the Jurchen tribes and rename them into Manchus 滿族, his policy of marrying Manchu women to Han Chinese soldiers and generals would play a role integrating them in to the new Qing Dynasty 清朝. When the Ming dynasty 明朝was in decline he made the Seven Grievances justifying the war against the Ming Dynasty. His invasion into Liaodong province 遼東半島would lay the groundwork for the invasion of China.
